Sir Thomas Berkeley (ca. 1576 – 22 November 1611) was an English politician who sat in the House of Commons from 1604 to 1611.
Berkeley was the son of Henry Berkeley, 7th Baron Berkeley. He matriculated at Magdalen College, Oxford on 27 June 1590, aged 14. In 1598 he was a student of Gray's Inn. He was knighted KB at the coronation of King James I on 25 July 1603.[1] In 1604, he was elected Member of Parliament for Gloucestershire.[2]
Berkeley died at the age of 37.[2]
Berkeley married Hon. Elizabeth Gary, daughter and sole heir of George Lord Hunsdon.[2]
